 Frances Catherine & Union County

Frances Catherine and Union County is a mostly acoustic band focusing on original material with a singer/songwriter sensibility and a folk lean. A Million Stars: Lullabies for Iris

This project of original lullabies is intended to be shared through concerts and as a way to help children living in difficult circumstances or with special needs to find some peace. In 2017, Frances Catherine released a lullaby album, A Million Stars: Lullabies for Iris, from which the title song was recently named a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

Frances is a graduate of Barnard College where she took voice lessons from soprano Lynn Owen.
Frances also writes creative non-fiction and stories for children.
